Set up your profile

So you've registered and you've uploaded your profile picture. Now how to you get the rest of your profile set up?
- Start by clicking on "My Account" on the right side of your screen. It should be one of the first choices in the menu. This will bring you to your profile page.
- Towards the top of the page, you will see a tab titled "User Profile". Click on this.

- You will then be brought to a screen where you will see many different fields where you can enter information about yourself:
- Title: This is the title of your profile. By default, the title is your user name, though you can select a different title such as "Sample User's Sailing Profile" if you desire. This is a required field. If in doubt, just leave it as is.
- Name: This is your name... pretty self explanatory. This is not required.
- Day Job: If you've got one, someone may be interested in what it is. Again, pretty self explanatory, and not required.
- Location: This is where you live, or about where you live anyways. If you're not comfortable putting down your city, maybe you could just put your state or region? This is not required.
- Boats sailed: List the boat types that you sail on. It's probably best to list them in order with the boats you sail on most frequently first. Separate multple entries with a comma or "return". Any way works. Again, not required, though informative to others.
- Yacht Club: no description needed. You can list multiple. Not required.
- Sailing waters: this will help people find you if your interested in being contacted. Not required.
- I think you get the idea... there's some other check boxes that you can select, and a field called "about me" where you have some literary freedom and can write up a short bio about yourself.
- Once your done, click on submit at the bottom of the page, and your profile will be updated!
