Skandia Cowes Week
Since 1826 Cowes Week has played a key part in the British sporting summer calendar and is one of the UK’s longest running and most successful sporting events. It now stages up to 40 daily races for over 1,000 boats and is the largest sailing regatta of its kind in the world.
Spring Classic
Cazenovia One Day Lightning Regatta
This is a fantastically run event. If you live in the area, it is a must attend Lightning regatta. Typically 7 races are run during the day, and there is always an onshore chili lunch to break up the day on the water.

Lightning North American Championships
The 2008 North American Championships and the Women's, Juniors', Masters' North American Championships will be held in Newport, Rhode Island and will be co-hosted by the New York Yacht Club, Ida Lewis

CNY Lightning District Championship and Centrals Regatta
The Central New York Lightning District Championship will be held out of Sodus Bay Yacht Club with sailing on either the protected Sodus Bay or on Lake Ontario. Come and practice at the site of the 2009 Lightning North American Championships! This regatta is being held in conjunction with a much larger regatta, the Centrals, which is a great event for both youth and adult sailors alike.
Lightning 70th Anniversary Regatta
This will likely be one of the largest lightning regattas ever, with expectations of around 200 boats. Come sail at the birthplace of the Lightning and enjoy a whole 4th of July weekend's worth of festivities.
Keuka One Day Regatta
This Central New York Lightning regatta was once the famous Keuka Champagne Regatta. While a bunch of the fleet used to show up for the party, and the fleet was always much smaller on Sunday than on Saturday, many showed up for the beautiful scenary and fantastic sailing.
