Central New York Lightning District

I was saddened last night to hear that George Fisher had passed away after a hard fought battle with cancer.  George will be dearly missed by all who knew him.  My thoughts and prayers certainly go out to all of his family who fought alongside with him.  George accomplished much in his life, and it is safe to say that he has had a huge influence on one-design sailing through his many volunteer efforts.  The sport that we know and love would be quite different today had it not been for George's hard work and loyalty.

Attached is a pre-departure & disembarking check list to assist leaving the dock and aid leaving Constellations in a consistant state for the next member aboard.

Telefonica, the Spanish entry into the '08-'09 around the world Volvo Ocean Race just unveiled one of their new Open 70's, Telefonica Black. This boat was designed by Farr Yacht Design, and together with the Russian Entry, may be highlighting the newest design trend.
